Got a new camera, we are still trying to figure each other out.
On the farm, Gabe has become a one-man lambing crew. He is LOVING lambing. Yeah, it's super-annoying that my ewes are popping them out at an average of 1/week, but that means there's always fresh moms/babies for Gabe to break.
Using him for chores has affected our training for precision work. I'd hoped to be trialing him by now, but I came to the realization that the experience he's getting on the farm far outweighs cranking on him to get into trial-shape. Letting go of a trial timeline has been the best thing for us. No more pressure. We are both happy and he's working better than ever! I'm so excited about him! Since Rae isn't used much for chores, her new job has become my photography subject. It's much easier to practice shooting working photos of a completely trained, strong-eyed dog than an eager and loose-eyed youngster!
Ella is still Ella, and Livy is still in OH.
